Terms of service
Last updated November 6, 2026
These terms cover your use of Promptuary, a product of EWJ LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Promptuary
- Promptuary is for parents and legal guardians, 18 or older, making worksheets for their own children. When you sign up you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian creating profiles for your own children.
- Children do not use Promptuary and must not have their own accounts. It is not offered to classroom teachers or schools for their students.
- Promptuary is offered only in the US states listed when you add a child. You confirm that you live in the state you choose and that your billing address is in a state we serve. We may stop offering Promptuary in a state; if your billing state is no longer served, you keep read-only access to what you already made.
Your subscription
- Promptuary is a monthly subscription. The price and what each plan includes are on the Pricing page. You are billed monthly in advance, and the subscription renews each month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to payment.
- You can cancel any time in the billing portal; refunds follow our Refunds and cancellations policy.
- If a payment fails or the subscription ends, your past worksheets stay viewable and downloadable, but new worksheets need an active subscription.
- Each plan has limits (for example, worksheets and pages per month). We tell you before a price change takes effect for your next billing period.
- Promotions, if any, are described on the offer and apply only as stated.
Worksheets and standards
- Worksheets are made with the help of AI models. Please review each worksheet before your child uses it; it may contain mistakes.
- Standards data comes from the Learning Commons Knowledge Graph under CC BY 4.0; authors and attributions are on the Credits page. The standards checklist is a planning aid. Placement and “covered” marks are yours, and it is not meant for high-stakes decisions such as grading or placement.
- Worksheets are for your family's own, non-commercial use. You may print and copy them for your children.
Using Promptuary well
- Keep your password safe and share family access only through the family invite feature.
- Only add children you are the parent or guardian of. Don't enter a child's full name, school, birthdate or other identifying details into free-text fields.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it, resell it, or get around plan limits.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why.
Your data
How we handle your and your children's data is in the Privacy policy. You can delete a child or your family at any time.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Promptuary available and correct, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you before it applies; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go through the contact form.
